Dive into adventure with BZS Aqua Camps! Each summer, children and teens explore Bermuda’s amazing natural environment through snorkelling, wildlife encounters, outdoor exploration, and hands-on conservation activities. It’s a fun way to learn, discover, and make lasting memories.

About Aqua Camps

Aqua Camps are available for children and teens of different age groups and experience levels. Programmes focus on outdoor learning and include activities such as:

Swimming and snorkelling
Nature exploration and hiking
Animal encounters
Field trips across Bermuda
Arts and crafts
Marine and environmental science activities
Conservation education

Each camp is designed to be age-appropriate while helping campers build confidence in the water and develop a stronger appreciation for Bermuda’s natural world.

Please note that campers may only attend one week of a traditional Aqua Camp each summer.

Camp Programmes

Angelfish

5 years old

For our youngest campers, Angelfish introduces children to nature exploration, outdoor play, and water confidence through gentle, age-appropriate activities. Campers enjoy field trips, animal encounters, art projects, and introductory water experiences.

Squirrelfish

6 – 7 years old

Squirrelfish campers continue building confidence through hiking, shallow-water exploration, nature activities, and environmental learning while developing a stronger connection to Bermuda’s habitats and wildlife.

Snappers

8 – 9 years old

Snappers combines water-based activities and environmental education, helping campers become stewards of Bermuda’s island ecosystems through hands-on learning, art, and outdoor adventures.

Jacks

10 – 11 years old

Jacks campers explore Bermuda’s marine ecosystems through snorkelling, field trips, and conservation-focused learning experiences. Campers should feel comfortable swimming in deeper water.

Explorers

12 – 13 years old

Explorers takes older campers across Bermuda to experience diverse marine and aquatic habitats while developing environmental awareness, teamwork, and conservation skills.

Conservationists

14 – 15 years old

The Conservationists programme is a residential camp experience focused on conservation science, field research, environmental stewardship, and leadership development. Campers participate in hands-on projects and learn about ongoing conservation efforts in Bermuda.

Freediving Camp

10-12 years old

Freediving Camp helps campers develop underwater confidence, breath control, mindfulness, and ocean safety skills while exploring Bermuda’s reefs and marine habitats.

Snorkelling Camp

11-14 years old

Snorkelling Camp allows participants to explore Bermuda’s underwater environments while learning about marine habitats, scientific observation, and ocean conservation.
