Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do at the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo (BAMZ). From weekdays to weekends, BZS volunteers help our staff care for animals, run educational programmes, support conservation projects, assist with special events, and even join in animal feedings. Most importantly, they have fun while making a real difference. With nearly 300 volunteers, we rely on their support across the Aquarium, Museum, Education Department, and beyond. Volunteers act as tour guides, education assistants, and all-around ambassadors for Bermuda’s wildlife and natural habitats.
