The Hamilton Lions Club, BZS Junior Volunteers and Rubis Terceira North Shore Gas Station are helping to raise money for Vision Bermuda and the Bermuda Zoological Society, with the 52nd annual Gas-O-Rama taking place today [Feb 13] at the gas station in Devonshire.

The Bermuda Aquarium Museum and Zoo celebrated World Oceans Day on Saturday, by putting on a host of activities highlighting Bermuda’s connection to the sea.
Visitors, who enjoyed free admission to the facility, were able to take part in a ‘Get Salty’ breath-holding competition and ocean-themed crafts, and also learn about ocean resources and the need to conserve them.

A number of local organisations took part in the event, including Government’s departments of Conservation Services and Fisheries, BIOS, the Lionfish Task Force, the Sargasso Sea Alliance, the Ocean Support Foundation, Bermuda Ocean Explorers, Greenrock!, 5 Gyres, Blue Halo, Dolphin Quest, BUEI and the Marine Debris Task Force.
